I’m incredibly proud that my comrades at Nozawa-gumi have launched a jeans brand bearing my name. Strassburger jeans are exceptional, packed with Japan’s renowned denim-making expertise, leveraging the 150 years of skill and experience Nozawa-gumi has cultivated.

Strasburger jeans use indigo-dyed warp yarns and brown cotton weft yarns, creating denim with a rugged, vintage-inspired look. As the jeans fade, the brown threads subtly emerge, offering a warm, earthy patina that can’t be replicated with plain white yarns.

STRASSBURGER & Co. is a jeaning work brand fully launched in 2025 by Nosawa & Co. Ltd. which has run the textile trade for 150 years and manufactured for national jeans brands since the dawn of Japanese denim in the 1970s.

We have long handled jeans manufacturing for numerous domestic and international brands. These very jeans were born from our desire to deliver our own vision by leveraging that wealth of accumulated experience and technical skill.

The name STRASSBURGER & Co. carries our deep respect for the American textile company Strassburger and Company along with its founder Mr. Strassburger who shared a long history with Nosawa over our 150 year legacy.
